Ariel Bolton‘s first published story, “To the Havens,” appeared in Flash Fiction Online in December, 2015. Her career so far has involved the typical preparations for becoming a writer. She’s been an equestrian trail guide at a tourist ranch, an aide to politicians, a PhD student in medieval history, and the curator of a historic collection of torture implements. Currently, she’s studying to become an archivist.
